His masterwork paints have been sold to collectors all over the world, and his small printings and greeting cards based on his popular works have been limited sold at online gallery and biscuit factory gallery. Furthermore, his work all over the world from Newcastle to Delhi.

The art influence of Paul from his farther Lawrence Strangroom who also is an artist/illustrator, and teached Paul in the traditional techniques and skills. then paul studied Fine ART AT THE central School of Art in london and at Sunderland Polytechnic Faculty of Art and Design (it be called university of sunderland now).
He has produce few albums include Northumberland, Whitby Abbey, the Windows and India.

In 1979, Paul Stangroom fist visited Himalayan mountains in India, the experience not only support his painting for the albums India Collection, but also effect his further artwork which always include elements of wild and remote places. Furthermore, collectors was magnetize by his diversity experience, so his artwork in various private collections across the world.

From 1994 to 1997, he archived drawings and paintings of sculpture in Whitby Abbey for English Heritage, as a part of an archaeological and structural survey of the monument, it is the source for the albums of Whitby Abbey.

Since moving to Hexham in 2002,Paul has found the pennines and Narthumberland to a new and more poignant source of inspiration. he spent a lot of time wandering the fells and have become increasingly interested in the abandoned and often derelict cottages. 'i will often wait for a number of years before painting some of the places and visit them at different times of the year to try and understand why a particular place has had an impact on me, I suppose the paintings are my way of trying to undersand why these places have struck some kind of chard or resonance with me.'(Paul, 2011)

Before 2006, He was a lecturer at Northeast England. Then, he teach the ongoing private art classes at Hexham. It support the core income to pursue his artwork. As his comment the period of time:" this has evolved over many years and within that various themes have kept on emerging.' He is a lucky man, more artists pass into silence and give up their dreams in their grey time.

There has few photos of Paul's artwork when i visited Biscuit Factory.( PLEASE NOTE ALL THE PICTURES I HAVE ADDED TO THIS BLOG WERE TAKEN USING MY CAMERA PHONE. PURELY FOR DOCUMENTING PURPOSES

At the first time when i seen the Paul's painting, i took his artwork for the photo of landscape, but not a colourwater painting, it showed how veritable and vivid his artwork is. he good at display the many shades of  colours, there is great contrast between the tiny brushstrokes for close shot with the background of sky. His artwork influenced my painting practice to be more vivid and use the great contrast into the artwork. Also, I have better understanding about how the painting to show the frame of mind and how to bring to bear the gold section into the painting of structure. From Paul's experience, I learnt the success of artists are not only continue hard working. but a really masterwork has a historical massiness of precipitation comes down, the painting like the mirror as artist's the inner world and intelligent.
I also learnt that the limited paintings might bring the limited income, but if the artists could to sell the photo of paintings or produced the cards which has the painting, then the 'only one' painting could to been continue produce and selling. On another words, to develop the painting related products is a good way to increased the income and improved the influence of artists.
