This watercolour painting is a part of Exhibition -so last century: art from the laing collection, 1900-2000. The exquisite brushstroke and the natural image showed the Superb skills of artist. The watercolour showed poor impact of the colour contrast then oil painting.
I was enjoying another art work painted at 1900-2000.
There has a good structure of the exhibit by the time line. Also, the risk health and safety protection is necessary for any exhibition, Laing did very comprehensive arrange.
This is one of my picked up leaflets, but this one is very interesting, it be used to reviewed and recored the exhibition for kids and families, which is a smart way to help litter visitors enjoying and understanding exhibition.
Made from thousands of wooden blocks, it resembles a miniature cityscape and reveals how simple geometric objects and shapes - and a sense of playfulness - inspire children, artists and architects alike. （Laing, 2011）
